Moixa has won and is leading various R&D grant projects and consoritums on energy efficiency technology across partners in universities, software and electronic development and end users.
This is a £870k collaborative R&D project led by Moixa to develop and trial technology that improves smart meter integration and effectiveness in reducing grid-peak through intelligent off-peak storage, renewable integration and power distribution over Moixa Smart DC networks for local lighting and electronics loads. The project involved collaboration with Pachube, Eseye, Buro Happold and has resulted in an initial trial sites and ongoing development of approaches for co-installation with smart meters.
This is a £500k collaborative R&D project led by Moixa to develop and trial power efficient power distribution and smart control technology for domestic LED lighting and smart DC sockets from local resources. The project involves collaboration with Luminis software and Lumberg connectors and will result in extended trials.
