Smart Hub Specification

The Smart Hub provides smart storage management (renewables, batteries and off-peak charging), DC power management to DC sockets or network and lighting circuit, and smart communications (AC and DC power monitoring, event tracking) and smart control (Zigbee, Wi-Fi, and remote IP web applications and smart phones).

A typical energy hub for a home computing or house energy zone, is shown below, providing numerous variable voltage 'USB 3.0' type ports, USB 3.0/2.0 ports and network ports.

Variable DC ports can a range of voltages (typically 5-35V) and typically up to 3A, suitable for powering DC laptops, monitors and gadgets.

The DC power network can power LED lighting, and Smart DC sockets.

Smart Wall or light switch sockets, support zigbee communication, DC power for LED lighting, and USB and variable DC power sockets.
