Smart Lighting

Our systems can be connected by an electrician to power local and household lighting via Smart cieling and Smart DC light switch sockets. This can in some cases as retrofit re-use existing lighting circuits to essentially create a Variable Voltage Ring-main (VDC, typically 24-35v), and changing light fittings and light switches over to DC fittings, to avoid the need to re-wire, or by adding new Smart DC sockets connected off the light circuit in rooms. Smart DC sockets can also be configuted to act as DC inlet's to plug in local renewables, such as window/wall based solar panels.  

Our vision is for everything in a house above the waist, such as lighting, electronics and gadgets, as well as building systems/pumps and sensors. to be powered as a Smart DC network, using local window/wall based PV resources or grid-shift off-peak charged batteries. This also provides a green grid for the home, suitable for expansion to power household sensors, DC pumps for wate or passivhaus ventalation, or to connect to future building fabric - such as low grade PV resources on walls/roofs or future PV generating windows.
