Our MASLOW system helps meet your energy needs by powering DC (Direct Current) lighting and electronics from batteries charged at low-tariff times or from local solar resources. Maslow provides resilient, cost-effective and low-carbon energy for all your essential communication, lighting, media and electronic devices.
This provides efficient daily power for consumers, as well as back-up power if the grid-fails.
For consumers and utilities the system enables improved smart tariffs that can reduce peak energy costs.
Storage assets can also be made available, subsidized or for revenue opportunities to grid operators, to provide distributed storage resources for local network and grid-scale needs.
Core Components include:
Smart Storage: Maslow Meter Attached Storage squirrels away solar and cheap off- peak grid power (via smart meters tariffs) for when you it for your low voltage lighting and electronics. Batteries use deep cycle chemistry or reconidtioned Electric Vehicle packs.
Smart DC Power: Innovative variable-voltage USB DC sockets sand hubs to power your computing, electronics and gadgets without inverter or AC/DC convertor losses.
LED Lighting: Maslow - provides efficient local DC power for LED and CFL lighting. This can typically re-use household lighting circuits, to avoid rewiring.
Smart Control: Monitors energy use to identify power saving or measures that are cost effective to reduce bills, and provides you remote control via web and smartphone of your lighting and electronics.
Renewables: Maslow can be configured to receive power from local DC renewables such as solar panels. This can also enable urban properties unable to accomodate larger PV arrays to make the most of a few solar panels.
