SMILE stands for Smart Meter Integrated Low Energy

SMILE is our solution and application for energy utilities, service providers and installers and households. Our systems make an ideal co-installation with smart meters or PV systems, as are more effective at directly reducing energy cost at peak.

This helps enable new tariff and billing models, as helps off-set time of day pricing rises, by grid-shifting low energy devices like lighting, electronics, gadgets to batteries or solar resources. This is also more efficient as avoids inverter or AC/DC converter losses and a much better use of local renewable resources.

It can also support demand side strategies for network operators and grid infrastructure, by integrating with local renewable supplies at times of excess production, or helping grid shift or reduce overall demand at peak times.  

Our SMILE toolkit, enables new models in homes, offices, schools as well as hotel and student accomodation, to reduce peak energy and carbon use.
