Our Story

Moixa Technology was formed at the start of 2010 as a new venture subsidiary from Moixa Energy Holdings (founded in 2004), which undertook the original research, IP and technology incubation, to commercialize our Smart DC and storage technologies.

Our name Moixa is a reflection on the word Axiom, we rethink fundamental ideas to develop revolutionary new product categories and intellectual property.

The company founders hold numerous patent portfolios and have previously invented multi-million unit and award winning product categories such as Folding PDA keyboards, advanced mobile devices, USBCELL USB Rechargeable batteries (which won an iF Gold design award as a global top 50 of 3000, alongside companies like Apple, Philips).

We believe the energy sector needs a leader in consumer product design and technology to make solutions that work with real consumers, that reduce energy are engaging and focused around the best of todays technology.

Moixa Technology has won and is leading over £1.4m of R&D grant projects to further develop and trial the technology. Alongside support of Moixa Energy Holdings, the company has completed some early stage funding rounds, and is undertaking additional funding during 2011 to launch products and services.
